Today’s “Today’s Obsession” is in honor of my recent ticket purchase, which I am VERY excited about.

So, without further ado…

Today’s Obsession: “Community Property” by Steel Panther.

If you’ve never heard this song before, prepare yourself for a magical musical journey.  If you have heard this song before, I’m sure Steel Panther frontman Michael Starr would say “you’re welcome.”

With heartfelt lyrics like:

“‘Cause my heart belongs to you
There ain’t nothing that I wouldn’t do, for you

But my cock is community property”

you know you’ve witnessed music history in the making, so it’s no surprise that for Steel Panther, “small early gigs led to big ones. Big chicks led to hotter ones. And before long the gigs got bigger and the chicks even hotter.”

For those of you lucky enough to get tickets to their show, prepare to feast your eyes on big hair, bold bandannas and beautiful head-to-toe spandex as Steel Panther come to Vancouver for yet another SOLD OUT rock-bonanza at the Commodore Ballroom.
