FINALLY!
I have been waiting for what feels like FOREVER for this movie to come out!
Why, you might ask, do I care so much about a Joseph Gordon-Levitt movie about cancer?
Well, for one thing, I’m of the mind-set that JGL is AWESOME, and for another, for one crazy week in 2010, my office in Vancouver was turned into ‘Seattle Public Radio’ and Seth Rogen and JGL were on-site filming.
I got very little work done that week, as it was my first time being so close to a full-scale production like that, but it was so interesting to be up close and personal to the production, the crew and the stars.
Seth Rogen was hilarious, he hung out and took photos with all of us, and the production crew were incredibly friendly as well. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) JGL is such a method-actor that he wasn’t much in the spirit for taking photos — or at least that’s what the PA’s told us. ;)
Either way, I’m definitely looking forward to this coming out, and I’m glad they went with the title “50/50” instead of the previous working title, “I’m with Cancer.”
Thanks hitrecordjoe, for posting this.
Here’s what he had to say about it:
and while i’m posting posters, i just saw the final cut of this one, i’m really proud of it, and it’s coming out way sooner than that other one ;o)
I think we’re going to be proud of it too — at least I know I will be when I see the scenes shot in ‘Seattle Public Radio’!

Lots of Steve Jobs Apple logos and icons floating around, all done with great respect. They make me both sad...
